1 Corinthians 10:31
Paul Washer notes.
Our life should be one, in Christ. Everything we do, we do because it is the will of God. Even the most menial tasks. Pauls says, "When was the last time you drank a glass of water to the glory of God."
Besaught. As if he is on our forehead. We are supposed to do everything for the glory of God.
What if we wanted to live a day without sin? Well, there has never been a time in the life of Paul Washer where he loved God as much as he aught to. There has never been a time in the life of Paul Washer where he glorified God as he aught to be glorified. Holiness is to esteem God infinitely above all things. So as men, our goal is to learn and grow in this truth that everything we do is we are to do for the glory of God.
John 4:34
No way to write that part out. Why do we seem to be so "empty" when we are the fullest, wealthiest, most protect christians ever in America. However, when you go into most Christian book stores deal with how empty Christians are. Why are we so empty? Jesus was hated, pursecuted, and nailed to the cross but never empty. He had set his heart to doing the will of God. Watch his example in (9:05)-(11:36). It is about the olympics. About men who, since they were 6 years old, went without sleep, lives, hobbies, dating, ablsoutley everything for one purpose. All they have ever done is eat and sleep that passion. Then there's us. It not a gold medal around our necks, but for a crown that does not perish. How foolish we are that we can be so quickly drawn away from this great passion.
